I had that moment this morning.

“How is it Wednesday already?”

On Sunday I thought I had time.
Plenty of it.

Mapped the week. Felt organized. Clear. Ahead, even.

And then… life.

Emails.
Quick “can you look at this?”
One distraction that turned into three.
A meeting that ran long.
Something small that needed fixing.

Now it’s midweek and the list looks almost the same.

That’s when the pressure creeps in.

But here’s what I reminded myself:

Nothing is wrong.
This is just what building looks like.

Distractions happen.
Adjustments happen.
Energy shifts.

The mistake isn’t that the week changed.
The mistake is thinking you can hold all of it in your head at once.

So I closed the tabs.

Literally and mentally.

One thing at a time.
Finish it.
Then move.

Midweek isn’t for panic.

Go small.

You don’t need to catch up to the whole week.
You need to focus on the next decision.

That’s it.

Open your notes.

Write down the 3 things that actually matter before Friday.

Now circle one.

Do that first.
Close the rest.
