Onto today’s message:

One skill will stand above all others in the coming years.

And it’s not what you might think…

Things are moving at warp speed in our digital world.

What you learned yesterday might be ancient history today.

So being able to learn on your own and think critically is going to be your secret weapon in the years to come.

With all the fake news and misinformation out there, knowing what's real and what's not is crucial.

By sharpening your critical thinking skills and being a bit skeptical, you'll be able to separate fact from fiction and make smart decisions.

Plus, with technology rapidly evolving,  you have to keep learning to stay in the game.

Embracing a mindset of constant growth and grabbing every chance to learn new stuff will help you stay ahead of the pack and land those dream jobs.

And with the internet at your fingertips, you've got access to more info than ever before.

But not all of it's worth your time…

Learning to sift through the noise and focus on what really matters is key to reaching your goals and avoiding info overload.

As robots start doing more of the heavy lifting, being adaptable will be your ticket to success.

Sure, some jobs might disappear, but new ones will pop up for those who can roll with the punches and keep on learning.

So, there you have it.

Self-education will be your superpower in the coming years.

In a world where change is the only constant, being able to learn, think critically, and adapt will set you up for success.

3 Tips

Technology is Your Servant: Wealth has often been equated with the ability to have someone else do things for you. If this is true, then technology is some of the most potent wealth on the planet.

As one thinker has observed, having a smartphone is like having 10,000 servants in your pocket constantly waiting for a command. But how often are they all just sitting on their butts?

Optimize your use of technology. It’s one of the most powerful tools you have.

Weekly Mission Review: Set aside some time each week to review your mission.

You should have a mission statement clearly stating what you are trying to accomplish: in business, in relationships, and in life in general.

Take the time each week to review this mission and evaluate whether the tasks and projects you’re spending your time on align with it.

Eat the Elephant: We’ve all heard the cliche, but cliches are cliches for a reason. Everything can be broken down into smaller chunks.

If you have a book you want to read, set yourself a deadline and figure out how many pages you need to read a day to meet it. If you’re writing a book, look at how long you have between now and your deadline and determine how many words a day you need to write.

You’ll be amazed at how much you get done over a few months when you focus on doing a little every day.

1 Book

Skin in the Game, by Nassim Nicholas Taleb - Another book by Taleb, but this one is more applicable to entrepreneurs.

In this book, Taleb talks about risk and economics. He proves and defends the principle that, in general, those who are willing to expose themselves to certain risks receive more reward.

In fact, he argues, trying to remove ourselves from all risk is one of the worst strategies we can employ and virtually guarantees failure.
